AI-gated entries.
Before opening any initial position, the bot asks Grok 4.1 Fast for breaking news and X sentiment, then has DeepSeek V4 render a structured allow/block. Trades against the wind are vetoed.
GridSentinel is a MetaTrader expert advisor — works on MT4 and MT5 — that combines a proven grid strategy with AI-gated entries, hard stop-losses, and per-account licensing. The bot most retail traders are sold doesn't have any of that. We fixed it.
Trading forex involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. This is not financial advice.
Both bots run the identical grid algorithm on the identical price tape — a synthetic EURUSD adverse downtrend that punishes any long-only grid. One has no risk brakes and follows the Costa defaults (MaxTrades=1000, no SL). The other is GridSentinel v2. The chart shows what 81% capital protection actually looks like.

The dirty secret of the EA market: most popular bots are recycled martingale grid scripts from 2010. They print money quietly for months, then evaporate an account in a single trending session. The sellers even admit it — "it's likely to self-implode if you don't manage it."
MaxTrades=1000 ceilingsGridSentinel keeps the parts that work — modest, frequent wins in ranging markets — and bolts on every safety mechanism the old bots ignore: hard SL, drawdown circuit breakers, AI veto on entries against breaking news, and per-account licensing keyed to your broker.
MaxTrades=15 default (capped, not 1000)Six things that separate GridSentinel from the typical EA you'd find on a marketplace.
Before opening any initial position, the bot asks Grok 4.1 Fast for breaking news and X sentiment, then has DeepSeek V4 render a structured allow/block. Trades against the wind are vetoed.
Per-trade SL → per-basket SL → daily drawdown halt → account drawdown permanent halt. Any layer firing closes positions and stops trading.
Three modes: fixed,
percent-of-equity, or
risk-based. Martingale multiplier
is capped so the Nth grid level can't blow you up.
Built-in instrument profiles auto-tune pip spacing and lot caps. Gold needs wider grids than EURUSD — the bot knows.

No. Anyone telling you their trading bot wins consistently in all markets is either lying or showing you a backtest optimized for past data. GridSentinel improves the odds by avoiding obvious bad trades (against breaking news, into strong trends) and capping your downside — but it can still lose money. Trade only capital you can afford to lose.
Any broker that supports MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 — your existing MT4 setup is fine, and is what most existing Costa customers use. We strongly recommend ECN/Raw-Spread accounts over standard "market maker" accounts because the spreads are tighter (a grid bot pays spread on every trade) and the conflict-of-interest is lower. IC Markets, Pepperstone, and Tickmill are good options. Exness Raw Spread works fine too.
Yes, anytime via your Stripe / Paystack customer portal. The bot continues to work until the end of your billing period, then halts. You'll get an email confirming the cancellation and the cutoff date.
We do not offer refunds on the annual subscription, because the bot starts working the moment your key is activated. We do offer a free demo build you can run against a demo MT4 or MT5 account for 7 days before purchasing — request it via support.
You lose money. We're not your broker, we're not insurance, and we're not financial advisers. GridSentinel is software you license. Your trading P&L is between you and your broker. The risk controls reduce the chance of catastrophic loss but cannot eliminate it.
No. A license binds to the first broker account number that activates it. Trying to use the same key on a different account returns ACCOUNT_LIMIT and the EA refuses to run. If you switch brokers legitimately, contact support and we'll rebind your key.
A Windows VPS running MT4 or MT5, 24/5. Forex VPS hosting is cheap — $10-30/month covers it. Your PC can also work but it needs to stay on and connected Monday–Friday. The bot calls our AI sidecar over HTTPS, so you need WebRequest allowed in the platform settings (one-time setup).
